The other day I whipped up another batch of homemade taco seasoning that I’ve been making for years so I thought I would share it with you.
It’s super easy, last a long time, and doesn’t have any of the icky preservatives, etc.
Here’s the ingredients,
- 1/2 cup chili powder
- 3 Tablespoons cumin
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon finely ground pepper
- 1 Tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
Mix it all together and you’re good to go!
To use, brown 1lb. hamburger, then add 2 Tablespoons of the taco seasoning mix plus 1/3 cup water and simmer until liquid has thickened, about 1-2 minutes.
I hope you enjoy!
