DIY Peeps Welcome Sign   I took one of the old pallet boards I have and painted the whole thing white.  Then I fold a piece of paper in half and then in half again, drew the peeps shape I wanted and then cut it out (That way everything is symmetrical!)  If you don't want to do that I scanned my template into the computer, You can adjust the size accordingly as you print if you'd like it bigger but mine is a little under half the size of an 8.5x 11 piece of paper.     Then I traced out three peeps on the board.  Then I got to painting!  I started at the top outlining my peep and worked my way down.  I did two coats on the peeps and then got to work on. the lettering.  I am not great at lettering so I just winged it. I wrote out the spacing I wanted and painted over it, doing about 3 coats of paint.  I put a clear coat over it so If I choose to I can put it outside too....

St Patricks Day Chalkboard   Joe and I redid this old window into a chalkboard when I still had the salon to write specials and things on. I knew when I closed that it was definitely one of the items I had to keep for our house!  I love changing it out for different seasons/birthdays.  I shared some of the inspiration pictures I found incase you have a chalkboard or something you change out for the seasons as well! I created this fun vision board for our bedroom to help get an idea of what we want and finally get to work on it. Starting with the paint -  We'll have one wall as an "accent wall" that will be the greenish color.  The other 3 will be light gray and then I'm going to paint the dressers the pink color.  I found the ceiling fan, light, and drawer pulls at Lowes - The light is on sale for like $13 a piece and we're actually going to mount them on the wall above the bed like sconces. The carpet is from Menards - It's nothing fancy but we have a small area of flooring that will actually even show the carpet so I'm not worried about getting anything too durable. I found curtains already that I've hung - One is pink very similar to the one I have posted and the other is a fun pattern that will still go with the scheme of the room. DIY Fleece Dog Toys I picked up 3 of those cheap fleece blankets last year on Black Friday for $2-$3 and finally got around to doing something with them😊. You'll start by folding the blanket in half lengthwise and then in half again, cut 3 3"- 4" strips. Once you've got them cut, you'll have enough from those to make two toys. tie a knot in the center and braid down approximately 6" on each side, from there combine the two braids and make one single braid, tying at the end. With this one I tied a knot at the center and did one long braid, when I was finished a tied a couple knots along just to make it a little shorter. With the fabric you have left you'll fold lengthwise and then again. I got just a cheap binder from Dollar General for a couple dollars and used my label maker to label the binder. I threw in some blank pages I had for any extra notes I wanted to add. Then I added this page that starts that has a week before slot and then a Sunday - Thursday slot. This is where I'll write down anything I need to do leading up to Thanksgiving - whether it be cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, running to the store, etc. I use this page the day of Thanksgiving - I used this last year and it worked great and kept me on track during the day.
