Fall Organizer

Fall Organizer

In this post you'll see how I have organized my papers for Thanksgiving, if you're hosting Thanksgiving at your home the checklist are perfect for you! I also have a calendar going from September-November to write in special events and dates, a fun Fall Bucket list and some coloring pages I found online.

I got just a cheap binder from Dollar General for a couple dollars and used my label maker to label the binder.

I threw in some blank pages I had for any extra notes I wanted to add.

Then I added this page that starts that has a week before slot and then a Sunday - Thursday slot.
This is where I'll write down anything I need to do leading up to Thanksgiving - whether it be cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, running to the store, etc.

I use this page the day of Thanksgiving - I used this last year and it worked great and kept me on track during the day.

This is the page where you'll write down everything you're making, when to start it, what serving dish to use, etc.

This page you can use if you're taking things to another event - if you have multiple Thanksgivings you're going to you can list them for each one. You can also use it to keep track if you're hosting who's bringing what.

I forgot to print my pretty Thanksgiving Calendar! so until I get that printed this one will do.

I found this cute printable on Nesting with Graces instagram that I had to have!

In the back I have these fun coloring pages I found on Pinterest and printed off.

Another one I forgot to print😏 but this ones available in the package as well. I use this last year and will use it again this year to write down anything I need to get from dishes to food.

I keep my Fall Bucket List printable on the fridge so I can make sure we check some things off this year😊.
If you need a little organization in you're life this Thanksgiving this binder is perfect for you!
You can find my printables here for only $2! it comes with all 6 printables plus my fall bucket list.

I plan on adding more for next year to help get ready for Halloween too if you're hosting a fun Halloween party or something.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing how I keep my Thanksgiving organized!

National Peanut Butter Day

In honor of National peanut butter day coming up this Sunday the 24th, I thought I would share my favorite  peanut butter recipes from the blog.  I don’t know about you, but I never need an excuse for peanut butter, BUT I do love using these National (insert whatever here) day as a fun way to celebrate some of my favorite things.  To start us off I’ll share my favorite first! And now for the rest in really no particular order because I couldn’t possibly decide between them all🤷‍♀️. Homemade Taco Seasoning

The other day I whipped up another batch of homemade taco seasoning that I’ve been making for years so I thought I would share it with you. It’s super easy, last a long time, and doesn’t have any of the icky preservatives, etc. Here’s the ingredients, 1/2 cup chili powder 3 Tablespoons cumin 1 Tablespoon salt 1 Tablespoon finely ground pepper 1 Tablespoon paprika 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons onion powder 2 teaspoons dried oregano Mix it all together and you’re good to go! To use, brown 1lb. hamburger,  then add 2 Tablespoons of the taco seasoning mix plus 1/3 cup water and simmer until liquid has thickened, about 1-2 minutes. I hope you enjoy!

Instant Pot Spaghetti

Instant Pot Spaghetti  Start by turning your instant pot to the sauté function, adding some olive oil and then once the screen says HOT add your hamburger and brown.  All of the spices I used. Once the hamburger is browned Turn the instant pot off. Once I turned the instant pot off I added the noodles, crisscrossing the noodles so they don't clump. Next I added the spaghetti sauce, water, and spices.  Then set the instant pot to manual for 10 minutes and did natural release. And finished product!  I turned the instant pot off, put the lid back on and let it cool a little once I mixed everything together. I used this for freezer meals. I was able to get 7 1 1/2 cup servings. I let these cool and then put them in the fridge and waited to put them in the freezer until the next day so it was completely cooled. Ingredients: Olive Oil 1 lb hamburger 2 jars pasta sauce 1 16oz box angel hair noodles 1 cup + 1 jar of Wa
