Organizing - Its that time of year!

Organizing...What projects I've started and some goals.

I started with reorganizing my tool box and trying to utilize the space as best as possible.

Im so ashamed of how unorganized our hutch drawers had gotten😩.

I picked up these baskets at Walmart - they were a $1 for a set of two.

Hutch drawers after. Not perfect but much more organized!

A few of the spaces I'd like to find a better solution for organization this year.

I started on the locker but its not where I'd like it to be yet.

Our pantries not terrible but it could use a little update.
We buy water by the case from Costco and I'd like to find a way to rework the space so they can actually sit in the pantry and not in front of it.

Real life photos here people...😂 It's not pretty!

The start of the purging...

Our office is the biggest space that needs a change up and more organization. - That will all come along with some updates we're going to do to this room as well.

I'm trying to decide if I want a new piece of furniture here or maybe update this one, the shelf fits perfectly in here and all of the books on the bottom I borrowed from my dad so once I get through those there is room for more.

I love this 31 wall organizer and I'd love to find a way to utilize it in 2019.

One space that is as organized as it will get with all of our games!
I need to replace the shelf in the upper half of the hutch so I can utilize that more for decorative dishes.

And paper organization is a big challenge I'm taking on this year! I'm trying to get through at least 1-2 magazines a day.

I'm sure you've all already heard of the Marie kondo method on Netflix - I haven't watched it yet but I've had enough bloggers I follow post about it, I don't think I need too!😂
I followed the directions on folding jeans and it is so great! I love being able to see all of the jeans and I'm able to fit more.

I finally decided to go through my jewelry box - Purge and re organize! I need to come up with a good system to hang my necklaces but this is definitely better than it was. My grandpa built this jewelry box for me the nI was little and Joe gave me the one on the right as a gift a few years ago so I I know even after I find hanging storage I'll still use these.
I can at least see everything now.

Not amazing, BUT since we've moved into this house I've been storing all of the bread/chip items on the top of the fridge and its been driving me nuts...so I took over the snack cabinet and it all fits great in here.

Another drawer I decided to tackle...I've barely been fitting all of the towels in this drawer - This is so much nicer!

A few others on the list...

Utilizing our under bed storage as best as possible.

I have two cedar chest in the living room - one of them will probably need to be moved elsewhere when we get a new couch so I need to figure out a space to store all the blankets that are in it...I'll be purging a few and finding a way to store them - I'm thinking a blanket ladder like the ones we made my mom and grandma for Christmas.

Re working the side table storage in the living room.

Purging what I can in the kitchen and making sure I'm utilizing the space as best as possible.

Purging clothes, shoes, makeup, and skincare I no longer use or need.

Cleaning up the basement so we can organize all of our holiday totes nice and neatly.

Our garage...boy thats going to be a BIG project of 2019! We need to throw ALOT of things away...
and get it cleaned up and functioning properly.

I've even been pinning ways to keep my car organized.

And I'm sure I'll find other things along the way to get rid of and organize😂.

What are some organizing projects you want to tackle in 2019?
Let me know in the comments!

Instant Pot Hamburger Helper

Instant Pot Hamburger Helper To get started you're going to turn your instant pot to the sauce feature. When it shows "Hot" on the display you're ready to add your olive oil and hamburger. Throw in all of your seasonings and brown the hamburger. Once its browned, add the noodles and more seasonings. Then add the two cans of beef broth and try to push all the ingredients down so there's not too much sitting on the surface. Then set the instant pot to cook for 8 minutes and do a quick release. Add in your milk, cheese, and party dip or sour cream if you have it. Turn it back onto sauté and stir everything together until it's melted. And serve! I don't know about you guys...but in our opinion you can't have hamburger helper without some bread and butter to go along with it😉. Ingredients: 1lb hamburger 8 oz elbow noodles 2 14 oz cans beef broth  1/2 - 1 cup milk  8 oz shredded ch...
