Super random post but when you have the feelings It's good to get them out😉. That's why this is a "Lifestyle blog" I'm just interested in too many things!
I've always been a music person (of course, I took violin and piano lessons growing up and was in a praise band in high school, and my brothers a musician, its always been a huge part of our lives) Do you ever just stop and think about the way a song can make you feel? Theres a song for every feeling and every memory, ones that can stop you in your tracks, make you sing along at the top of your lungs, bawl your eyes out, of make you think of some of the happiest times in your life. Isn't that so amazing that something like that can do so much?
I've always been one to purchase cd's or music on iTunes like crazy, So when apple started doing the whole $10 a month and you can download as much music as you want I jumped all over it and went into download overload 😂, I've always been a playlist person so today I set out to go through all my thousands of songs and make a "spring" playlist, I quickly realized that just wouldn't be enough and had to go onto make a country, rock, old school, sing along, sad songs, love songs, etc. along with just my spring one. I tell you there is just so many good options!
Over the years my taste has definitely changed and evolved - Listening to 107.5? Yeah I'm that old person that can't stand half the songs on there, when did that happen??
My dad would be SO proud as my appreciation of bluegrass music has totally grown, boy I hated being drug to those bluegrass festivals back in the day, but now I look back on those memories fondly.
I love the way listening to praise music in the morning can set an amazing tone for the whole day, I love.
Before I met Joe you never would have caught me listening to blues or classical (Although I LOVED playing classical music on the piano) but he has opened up that world for me as well, I love that at least once a week he'll come home and show me a new song or send me one to listen to, he has a way of finding those underground artist that have such amazing talent.
I have soo many memories of just cruising around with friends and listening to music, Theres certain cd's that remind me of my beloved first car, or Joes big old boat of a caprice with that stereo system.
I have playlist for every summer going back as far as I can remember, I love pulling out those old burned cd's and playing them in my car (What are we going to do when there's no more CD players in cars??😩, Of course I love my phone just hooks right up to my car with bluetooth but there's nothing like a good old cd), Anytime we've gone on vacation we've made a playlist just for it, or when we lived in Florida I have so many songs that remind me of that time. I've been to a concert or two in my life, and I love when you hear a song come on the radio, etc, that you heard live and it takes you back to that time.
If you're looking for some new playlist ideas for Pandora here's a few of my favorites:
