What’s in my purse

What's in my purse

I thought it would be fun to do a little "Whats in my purse" post for you guys. I'm always curious about stuff like that and love reading post or magazine articles about it!

Alright we'll start with an overview of my purse and everything that goes in.
I got my purse at the Michael Kors outlet last summer for my birthday and I'm still just as much in love with it as the first day I got it😍.
I've had this exact purse (or at least one similar😉) pinned on Pinterest for YEARS. But obviously spending $300-$500 on a purse just isn't an option for me. Which is why I was so excited when the Michael Kors outlet opened up in Altoona. I scored this one for only $100!
Now I realize to some people thats still alot of money to spend on a purse...but I spent around $150 on one at the Coach outlet in Georgia when we were on vacation about 7 years ago and I still have and use it! so to me, its worth the money rather than spending $20-$30 on a new purse from Walmart or Target every few months.

Ok, now onto whats in the purse.

Joe got me this little monkey out of a vending machine somewhere when I was in the hospital and I've had it in my purse since I suppose you could call it my little good luck charm😊.

Mints of course, My mom got me this cute business card holder when I had the salon and now I use it to hold business cards for dadd lock and key business and my brothers leather business.
My favorite elf lip oil and my favorite chapstick. I got the oil from the elf website but I think they sell it at Target, and I just got the chapstick at Walmart.
My little pen light Joe got me.
And my two favorite pens!

Have you ever ordered from Ipsy? Its a monthly makeup/skin/hair subscription and I love that they come in little makeup bags, they come in so handy!
I keep my travel size wet brush, bottle of perfume, travel size Aveda stress fix lotion, Sudsy Soapcakes chapstick, Tylenol, contact eye drops, and a bottle with a couple of each of all my medicines so I always have them with me when we're out and about or eating somewhere.

In this one I keep hand sanitizer, Kleenex's, and I usually have wet wipes too but I need to get a new set of travel ones!

I got this All about the Benjamins wallet a few years ago from Thirty One and I love it! I think I've maybe switched out wallets once, since I got it but I always go back to this one, 1. its a little pricy so I wanted my moneys worth and 2. I just love how much it can hold and how well made it is!

And that's pretty much it!
I do usually keep a can of hairspray, pocket knife, and some sort of snack in here too. but I put them all in my center console awhile ago and haven't put them back in yet 🤷‍♀️.

Nothing to fun or crazy here, I will tell you this purse can hold ALOT more!😂. I love that I can fit a bottle of water down in as well when we're out and about and when I used to go for my Remicade Infusions or for my Iron infusions now, I can fit a book or iPad, magazine, and plenty of others.
Let me know in the comments what is your must have or something you can't live without that's always in your purse!

Homemade Taco Seasoning

The other day I whipped up another batch of homemade taco seasoning that I’ve been making for years so I thought I would share it with you. It’s super easy, last a long time, and doesn’t have any of the icky preservatives, etc. Here’s the ingredients, 1/2 cup chili powder 3 Tablespoons cumin 1 Tablespoon salt 1 Tablespoon finely ground pepper 1 Tablespoon paprika 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons onion powder 2 teaspoons dried oregano Mix it all together and you’re good to go! To use, brown 1lb. hamburger,  then add 2 Tablespoons of the taco seasoning mix plus 1/3 cup water and simmer until liquid has thickened, about 1-2 minutes. I hope you enjoy!

Instant Pot Spaghetti

Instant Pot Spaghetti  Start by turning your instant pot to the sauté function, adding some olive oil and then once the screen says HOT add your hamburger and brown.  All of the spices I used. Once the hamburger is browned Turn the instant pot off. Once I turned the instant pot off I added the noodles, crisscrossing the noodles so they don't clump. Next I added the spaghetti sauce, water, and spices.  Then set the instant pot to manual for 10 minutes and did natural release. And finished product!  I turned the instant pot off, put the lid back on and let it cool a little once I mixed everything together. I used this for freezer meals. I was able to get 7 1 1/2 cup servings. I let these cool and then put them in the fridge and waited to put them in the freezer until the next day so it was completely cooled. Ingredients: Olive Oil 1 lb hamburger 2 jars pasta sauce 1 16oz box angel hair noodles 1 cup + 1 jar of Wa
